We finally managed to carry out the trip to Scotland and River Dee. A trip that had been postponed for two years. And it was incredibly good to be back to what, for many, is the most beautiful adventure of spring. Springer fishing in Scotland is special, and everyone who joined us got to feel that during this week in March.
The pictures tell a lot, but the mood and the fantastic atmosphere we had on this trip do not come through in the pictures. Yours truly therefore takes this opportunity to thank everyone for a brilliant week. Plenty of fun, exciting fishing, fine salmon, good food and drink, exactly how we want our spring trips to Dee to be.
It was very good to see such fine examples of the salmon in Dee. The fish we landed, and lost, were very fine specimens and give good hope for what lies ahead. That is needed.
