The top is sensitive and lifts lightweight line profiles. The middle section is flexible and stabilises the cast, while the butt section has a deep power that provides energy for long casts and barbs on large salmon.
The rod is loaded lightweight and settles quickly after casting. This gives the line good balance in the air and reduces unnecessary vibrations.
